Our residents at our Pune homes are in the age group of 74-90. Coming from all corners of India & diverse cultural backgrounds, they have infused together under the same roof. Our residents and team communicate with each other in English, Hindi, and also in their mother tongue-Gujarati and Marathi.

Our residents are highly qualified with Doctorate, Master’s, and Bachelor’s degrees. In their work life, they held prestigious designations - such as Director, Teacher, Scientist, Oceanographer, Vice President, Chief Administrator and were associated with various well-known organizations. Some of our residents were recognized for their work and have been awarded, both nationally and internationally. Their down-to-earth nature makes that fame even more glorious!

Families of our residents currently reside in Mumbai, and countries like the USA, Thailand, and Singapore. It feels good to see them connect over video calls regularly. They always have loads to share!

They had interesting hobbies such as singing, dancing, playing various instruments, painting, playing cards, crafting, and doing many other interesting things that they even enjoy to date. Some of our residents make beautiful art and craft from scratch, and proudly display them in our homes! Their active participation in the Epoch bucket list of activities is as exciting and engaging as their investment of interest in it. Our team of diligent caregivers makes their investment of effort in such interests conveniently seamless.

Our residents go for outings, their favourite place being Aga Khan Palace (museum, closely linked to the Indian freedom movement), parks, and nearby malls. During these outings, they would stop to have pizzas with their beverage of choice. Nowadays, mostly during mornings and evenings, they enjoy watching black & white movies and latest Bollywood flicks also! They listen to the old gold songs and sing along with the beat. Food and celebrations are an integral part of Epoch homes, and it feels good to celebrate different flavours, festivals & occasions altogether as a big family!
